**Your Mission: Design Your Own Power-Up Station!**
Today you're going to create a special power-up station for our Super Mario obstacle course! Just like in the video games, your power-up will give players cool abilities.
**Step 1: Plan Your Power-Up (15 minutes)**
Work with your partner to design your station on paper. Ask yourselves:
- What super power will your station give players? (Super speed? Extra jumps? Fire power?)
- What will players need to do to earn the power-up? (Jumping jacks? Hop on one foot?)
- What will your station look like?
Draw your design and write down your simple rule!
**Step 2: Build Your Station (20 minutes)**
Time to bring your design to life! Use the materials to:
- Decorate a box or container to be your power-up dispenser
- Use colorful paper to make it look amazing (stars, mushrooms, flowers!)
- Make sure other kids will understand what your power-up does
- Test that your station is strong and ready for action
**Step 3: Show Off Your Creation (5 minutes)**
Present your power-up station to the class! Explain what it does and show everyone how it works.
**The Test:**
Your power-up station is successful if other students can understand what super power it gives and what they need to do to earn it. Make it clear, make it fun, and make it awesome!
