Lesson 6

💭 Think About...

What makes an obstacle course fun and exciting to play?
How did working as a team help you create better courses?
What was the trickiest physics problem you had to solve when building your course?
Which part of being a game designer was your favorite - planning, building, or testing?
How can you use what you learned about balance and movement in other games?

🔨 Your Project

**Mario Championship Challenge!**

Today you're going to be both a game designer AND a game tester! Here's your mission:

**Your Challenge:** Show off your amazing obstacle course and test all your classmates' courses too!

**Step 1: Get Ready to Shine**

Set up your team's final obstacle course in your special showcase area. Make sure everything is safe and ready for other kids to try.

**Step 2: Be the Expert**

When other teams visit your course, you're the expert! Tell them:

- What your course is called

- How to play it safely

- Where the special challenges are

- What physics tricks you used (like gravity, balance, or pushing)

**Step 3: Be a Great Tester**

When you visit other teams' courses:

- Listen carefully to the designers

- Try your best on each challenge

- Cheer for your classmates

- Say something nice about their course

**Step 4: Think and Share**

Complete your reflection sheet by drawing and writing about:

- Your favorite obstacle from any course

- What you learned about making things move and balance

- How you were a good teammate

**The Test:** You'll know you succeeded if you can explain your course to others, try all the other courses with a positive attitude, and share what you learned about being a game designer!

Get ready to celebrate - you're all amazing game designers now!
